Code contributions - what's the process?

FWIW: I think we were not aware of the merge requests until you mentioned
it in the bug report. I haven't found a way to make merge requests appear
in the devel mailing list, so it is usually a good idea to actually talk
about it here for the time being.
If anyone has an idea how I can get all notifications from invent to show
up in this mailing list I would be glad to know
