The patch looks good, thanks for it! There are 2 smaller issues (one with the patch, one witch existing code) that I would love to see addressed before merging this.

    Hmm, why don't we use i18nc() for creating the pattern here? Something with a very descriptive context string should do. This applies to all cases in the swich, not just this patch.

    Who don't we tell user what exactly has happened? (the tracks has empty composer) That way you could also remove the useless debug() message.
