merge request #166: fix shortcuts for actions which are added by scripts

Hi,

a while ago I opened a merge request (see [1]) which is a fix for bug #223165 
(see [0]).

Unfortunately 2.3.1 will be tagged very (very... ;)) soon - so this won't get 
merged in time anymore (thus my fix will not be included in 2.3.1).

Now I would like to ask if it's possible if this could get merged right after 
master has been reopened. That way people could test my patch extensively (I 
tested it here and it works fine for me).

Also I've documented everything needed to understand the patch in the merge 
request.
But if you still need more information feel free to ask.
