[GSoC status report] Week 3

Some initial work on the transcoding GUI, this is necessary in order
to test the TranscodeFormat with parameters other than hardcoded ones.
During the Multimedia sprint I also managed to fix some crashes that
were standing in the way of getting things done, and made some
improvements to TranscodeFormat.

Next week: GUI, and hopefully some checks all around to make the code
more robust.
