  The idea i meant was really to do something akin to what's found in MacOS X' 
dock when it shows a menu, i.e. this:

  The mockup i mentioned above was Leeo's one, but i remembered it wrong, in 
that one the arrow sits inside the menu and is more a scroll than an indicator 
;) So, the picture there shows what i meant :)
  A blue arrow replacing the plus is interesting, but it seems... i don't 
know, a little hackish... Please don't take it wrong, the general idea here is 
good, it's only that particular detail :)
  Since we've got full control over the view here (it's not a window, so 
shaping it and making bits translucent isn't a technical issue), i thought 
that would be a good addition :)
