In those cases, those apps would just put a single record into the 
track_contributor table. (or 2 if there is one artist and one composer).

Then it would be transparent compared to what it does today.

I'll read through it as soon as I can (it's fairly big).  So far I think 
it's pretty correct in what it wants to do.

tried, you were probably busy.

I like the idea of doing this, however, I still want to get the base app 
collection to be able to handle this properly.  partially because I want 
just a jukebox with no extra frills that can do that that I can also use 
on OSX and Windows.

Further, for now, given the desire to lock down the schema, if the 
integration with Nepomuk doesn't happen for whatever reason, in the 
future it'll be a lot harder to make the base product do the 'right' 
thing with multiple artists.

So I'm open to the idea, and potentially pitching in, but given the 
short time window of 5 days to get the code in, I would still like to 
move forward with the schema changes.
