Engine cleanup--Should we punt GST?

Was away this week - sorry for the late response.

I'm not particularly attached to the gst10 engine - I picked it up
because no one else really wanted to, and I thought it would be
interesting to work on.

I would only say this:  why decide now?  it's not in nearly as bad shape
as nmm/mas, and I think we're quite a bit away from a release.  Seems
like we could leave it there and see how much work I get done on it
between now and release time and then decide.

I will put a higher priority on building video in the helix engine, and
working on a phonon-helix backend, so I wouldnt say I feel very strongly
about keeping it.
