indeed. :/

currently the server expects to have a set of ‘asset type rules’ before it 
will agree to process the asset. these rules are how the server know, for 
instance, that a wallpaper should have a screen resolution tag and that books 
can have a front and back cover image of a specific size.

when it doesn’t have these rules, it just refuses to accept the asset for 
publication.

to fix this, the server need to have a set of "generic" rules so when a new 
asset type is created the server will recognize it right away; asset type 
rules can be added after, but at least that way it won’t block people.

i’ll do that on monday.

no, this is perfect. you are doing things we haven’t tried because we “know” 
how the system works. you are doing a great job of exercising the system.
