the window the strip is shown in is not the same window as the desktop .. but
they are in the same process. so i suppose we could indeed set the positioning
property on the desktop window and it would just magically show up over the
window strip are in the panel window. yes, sounds like it'll work (without too
much work ;)

two birds with one stone. two flies with one swat is rather more likely an
occurance, so i have no idea what the english world was smoking on this one ;)
