my wetab lasts ~3 days when in sleep. sleeping it overnight doesn't take much
battery at all. i've travelled with it for 18 out of the last 24 days now so
i'm getting a good feel for this by now ;)

.. which is why we should rely on sleep.
i've got a few other tablets here at the house now running various versions of
Android and they all take quite a while to boot.
i'd love to have instant boot, but it's also not something that we should
hyper-focus on when we have much more pressing issues to deal with. this is,
imho, a level 3 or 4 priority item.
things like software updates or a great workflow for adding photos to the
device are higher (level 1 and 2 respectively .. again imho)
