Ah, see that makes sense. I didn't know that Dr. Konqi was even searching for
duplicate reports starting on today's date because on the screen where it
searches for reports, it listed the year range being used as 2009 - 2010.

I presume the date range sits in a QLabel. How/when does the label get updated?
It would be more clear if the *end date* listed on the label was always set to
the current date.

Ex:
Searching the current year's worth of reports -> "01/01/2012"
Searching last year's worth of reports -> "01/01/2011 - 01/01/2012"
Searching two year's worth of reports -> "01/01/2010 - 01/01/2012"
