OK, I'm closing the report, as the problems you describe seem to be
PC-BSD-specific, so we cannot do anything about them.

I suggest checking PC-BSD's support page
(http://www.pcbsd.org/content/view/15/29/) in case you haven't seen it yet --
you'll find links to PC-BSD's bug tracker and also their IRC channel.
