I have that bug about 10 times a work day, with KDE-4.3.3: 
  kdebase-workspace-4.3.3-7.fc11.x86_64 (and all my KDE packages are from
Fedora 11, with the "kde" repository from the KDE Fedora group, version 4.3.3
and release 7.fc11).

I usually kill/restart kwin when that bug occurs. It did not know the
workaround.
