Same problem here, it looks like kwin sometimes randomly fails to ungrab the
keyboard after Alt+Tab-bing between windows. Doing anything that makes it
re-grab and ungrab again fixes the keyboard - the simplest such action that I
have found is right-clicking on any window titlebar to bring up the window
actions popup - right after the popup appears, keyboard becomes responsive
again.
