The discussion yielded clearly that, given that the drivers work correctly, 
most users are happy with the linear prediction, and it is "well enough". What 
is "well enough" is relative to the users mind, and it is defined by the user, 
not by a single one of us.

So the "does not work well enough in many cases" can only be related to driver 
problems.
