Help for the inexperienced

Hello,
I have been trying out different EDA software and came across yours, which I would like to try out. For the sake of brevity I will just say that I know I am missing some of the required libraries and/or binaries needed to install but I am unable to decipher the exact packages I need from the Read me file in the zip package. If anyone is able to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I do not have any experience building packages, but from the read me file it seems fairly straight forward. I only have limited experience with Kubuntu in general and using the command line so please let me know if there is any more information you might need from me.
