At the Tools toolbar there is a button with drawing tools. Why not move those
tool buttons (text, line, arrow...) to a new toolbar plus "wire" and "select"
button? The Select button could be the default option and be used to select
and move any object, including wires.

One click on a tool button (wire, line, arrow) allows you to draw once. Double
click becomes a continue drawing tool until you hit Esc or click on another
tool button. I like this behaviour, it will be nice to see it in ktechlab.
