Hi all,

As an extra safety measure I've added a check in my motor controller to make
sure the mount is parked before the roof can be closed. This showed
(Thread-324) mount IS NOT PARKED, REFUSE TO roof_motor_close
when clouds started rolling in just now when the weather safety proxy signalled
'unsafe' to EKOS which in turn tried to order the roof to close, again without
ordering the mount to park.

So my safety check works and the original issue of this mail thread reproduces.

This is all with 3.5.4 as there is still no 3.5.5 for 18.04 LTS in the PPA, but
I assume 3.5.5 has the same behaviour. I have not looked in the EKOS code
myself yet to track this down.

Shall I post a warning on the forum that mounts are no longer parked on bad
weather signals when roofs are instructed to close ?
