Mac Calibration issue with 3.5.2

FWIW, I have a CGX driven by a Mac running KStars 3.5.2 and I don’t seem to be having a ***new*** problem with guiding calibration.

However, in 3.5.0 I could not get calibration to work with SEP Multi-Star until I selected the 2-AllStars profile.  No other profile would make it through calibration (it would quickly lose track of the guide star).  The SMART algorithm worked fine, though.

I hope this somehow helps.

Yes the latest version of INDI is included in each OS X KStars DMG.  You can install INDI yourself in home brew or some other method and run it from the Mac KSTARS but that takes some effort to get set up

I thought it would be interesting to use PHD2 instead of the internal proc in the calibration + guiding of KStars 352.

Ah, I hadn't thought to check INDI, I was checking in KStars and I think so was Hy.  INDI hadn't occurred to me because I was thinking that it was related to steps being taken in a routine in KStars during guider calibration, so I was thinking it had to be somewhere in that code. At the weekend I had a night of opportunity of clear skies, I had a lot
of issues that night, but was running a self compiled INDI,
INDI-3rdParty and Kstars from Git for my equipment on my Raspberry Pi
Astroberry.

Once I got over most of the issues I set off the scheduler and found
that I couldn't complete guiding calibration either on my Celestron CGX.
It failed at the DEC Reverse... stage.

So perhaps not a problem with the Mac, but a problem with the CGX driver?
