KStars crashes with INDI driver

Hi all,
I’m currently struggling with KStars crashes that are caused by the Avalon driver. Since I developed many parts of it, I would be really happy to fix it, but I have no clue what happens.

I could at least drill it down that it only happens when EKOS connects and disconnects the device. If the device is already running, everything is fine.

Included my backtraces.

Any ideas?
