Questions regarding GSoC project

So the idea for cross-identification is to build a table or virtual table
that would combine all sources into one consolidated source. Which deep-sky
catalogs are we using now in KStars? Take M1 for example, search for it in
Simbad:
http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-basic?Ident=M1&submit=SIMBAD+search

You'd see it has 56 identifiers. M1 = NGC 1952 = Crab Nebula = ..etc

So I'm not sure what you mean by values, RA/DE ? You can use simbad and
other sources to find such information. I believe SkyCharts already have
such a catalog.
