Dear Friends,

We are making a video to present KDE Network at FOSSASIA

https://fossasia.org/

and we need a video of a community member saying some words in Japanese.

As you are doing such a good job on the translations of KDE's apps and
environments, we were wondering if you would like to do it for us.

We would like you to find a nice spot, maybe in the open, in a garden or park,
and film yourself saying these words:

"Start a KDE Network in your country now!"

HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT VIDEO:

1. Get a friend to hold the camera/phone lengthways (landscape), not portrait
2. Find an interesting spot in a garden or park, or near a famous landmark in
your city, maybe with a nice view behind you. Somewhere original, like at the
top of a tall building or busy bazaar, works too!
3. Smile! Think of something funny or put a pencil between your teeth for 30
seconds before starting
4. Wait for one second before speaking, say the words, and then wait another
second before cutting
5. Speak loudly and clearly
6. Say the exact words "_Start a KDE Network in your country now!_" in your
language or the nearest equivalent. Please do not say something different

(NOTE: If you would like to record another message about encouraging people to
join KDE in your country, please do! Make a separate video and send it with
your "Network" video and a transcription in your language and a translation in
English of your message. We will probably be able to use it for any other
video we make in the future.)

You can upload your video to

https://collaborate.kde.org/s/TrJSATTJsGj4PBm

Use your name and the language as the name of the file. So, in your case

[YOUR_NAME]_Japanese.mp4

(Or whatever).

We will be showing the video with your contribution at FOSSASIA on April 9, at
4:05 SGT (Singapore Time - UTC +8), so we are in quite a hurry.

Thank you so much for your collaboration and for the excellent job you do
translating KDE!

Kindest Regards

Paul Brown

P.S.: If you have any trouble or questions, please do not hesitate to contact
us.
