Solid is not merged in kdelibs yet (waiting for the network part of the API to 
be ready, hopefully really soon now...). Hardware discovery and power 
management are enough to be used but source compatibility will probably break 
until 4.0 (as soon as it'll be used, we'll take care of application 
developers comments).
