Regarding the Cut & Paste issues with FreeNX
Remember in the /etc/node.conf file there is a setting as to how "clipboard"
works.
Make sure you have it configured right to allow you to cut&paste to "both"

*7.3.9 ENABLE_CLIPBOARD*
This directive controls if the clipboard on the client or server, should be
shared, and how. Here's the possible values:
*client* The content copied on the client can be pasted into the NX session.
*server* The content copied inside the NX session can be pasted on the
client.
*both* The content copied on either side can be pasted on either side. This
is also the default value.
*none* All content copied on either side cannot be pasted on either side.
The default is both.
