I applied a patch to CVS, which allows setting ENABLE_USESSION="1" in 
node.conf.

Note: You have to make sure, that you add the nx user to the utmp/tty group or 
somehow give him the right to write:

/var/run/utmp
/var/log/lastlog

and possibly others.
