Nice. Sorry, I know I promised to look into that, but even in these
pandemic times my time is almost fully occupied by other things and
projects.

I don't know anything about Ubuntu, so I can't comment on that.

Creating the tag is easy, but we also need to grab the translations
from SVN and sign the tarball. But there's a script for that, releaseme.

Version-wise, I'd say we could go with 2.9.70, but somebody is probably
using that already and *.80 often indicates beta versions of releases
by KDE. So I suggest .71, which gives us plenty of possible alpha
versions before reaching .80.

I don't have access to the CMS of the website, but I guess Myriam could
help out with that?
