I first tried with java 6 :

adrien ~/ $ java -version
java version "1.6.0_24"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.11.4) (6b24-1.11.4-3)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)

then with java 7 :

adrien ~/ $ java -version
java version "1.7.0_03"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea7 2.1.2) (7u3-2.1.2-2)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 22.0-b10, mixed mode)

It is the same, nothing occured. Moreover, I usually déactivate the option «
always activate java », and just have a specific rule for java.com. If I
activate this option, I can see a button « start plugin » on the applet, but
when I clic the button nothing happened. Without the option set, the button is
not displayed.
At last, with khtml I can see an icon (sort of ball, or nut) at the bottom
right. With the webkit kpart, the icon doesn't appear.
