I've got this problem too, using KDE 4.8.3. I can also reproduce it:

1. In Konqueror, make Webkit the default browser engine.
2. Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McuHVXgR8dA and play the video.
3. Quit Konqueror.

The konqueror process remains active. Notice that this isn't a flash video.
Even if you disable the plugins in konqueror, the problem still occurs.
