As recently stated on the mailing list, font handling has been vastly improved.

bugs.kde.org looks fine now; remaining font gotcha is mainly that monospace
fonts are not monospace in <pre> tags (IIRC I mentioned this and
http://pylonshq.com/docs/en/0.9.7/logging/it was identified as an upstream
webkit bug.)  See for example the pylons docs:

Given the rather generic (and, sorry about that, overly pessimistic) title for
the bug report, I'll leave it up to you if you want to keep it open.
