Still observing this bug.
My description: *sometimes* (almost every time, but not always) after the
monitor turns off for inactivity and the session is automatically locked,
moving the mouse makes the monitor to turn on, but its completely black. The
mouse cursor *is visible* and moves around.
My temporary solution: switching to another virtual terminal then back restores
the unlock screen. Ctrl+Alt+F2 for example, then Ctrl+Alt+F1, where my X Server
lives.
This generates this action on Xorg:

Unlock with *black screen* only one message from ksmserver:
