It's because the Kubuntu people control what code goes into Kubuntu 20.04, not
us in KDE. If they want the fix in 20.04 (It is a Kubuntu LTS edition, after
all), they'll have to backport the fix. Since they're shipping it as an LTS,
it's their responsibility to backport bugfixes that have already been fixed in
newer versions.
