As a last remark, maybe you can explain to me why I still (Ferdora 34) don't
see this issue on the login screen of SDDM with the Breeze theme, whose
settings I have synchronized (in Systemsettings). 

All, really all icons are pretty much about the same size (measured by eye
sight), but all are crisp.

What's the difference? Does SDDM use different kind if icons? :-)
