the folder icons also have poor contrast.

taking a poke at a contrast checker reveals that in all the cases mentioned
before, the icons and their colours fail to meet the wcag 3:1 contrast minimum
for interface objects against their background.

kickoff:
#6C4E93 : #26282A -> 2.21 : 1 ratio
dolphin icon view:
#483463 : #161616 -> 1.67 : 1 ratio

the source colour theme colour (#bb86fc) has significantly better contrast with
the above backgrounds (5.81, 6.83).
