The current get-hot-new-stuff is a star. This is semantically incorrect, since
star iconography means "favorite" or "bookmark" in other contexts.

It's also a missed opportunity to define a distinctive visual marker for the
feature. Let's come up with a better icon for the Get Hot New Stuff
functionality; something distinctive that really communicates, well, "get hot
new stuff!" Something almost logo-like, if possible.
