preferences-desktop-notification-bell
I *think* preferences-desktop-notification-bell is supposed to be a speaker
with an exclamation mark over it. However, this iconography is not very clear
to begin with, and at small sized it vanishes completely, looking like a coat
button or something. See the attachment.
I think this icon should look like a ringing bell, and we should make sure that
it's distinguishible at 16px and 22px sizes.
The need for a better icon here became clear following the implementation of
the feature requested in Bug 399140. preferences-desktop-notification-bell was
not inappropriately chosen as the icon, and it just doesn't look great:
