This is not fixed.
I just tried with the latest mail.svgz from git master and the problem is still
the same.

Actually, the icon is taken from the *icon* theme, not the desktop theme AFAICT
(and as stated in comment#3)

And to be clear, the problem only occurs with the "Breeze" color scheme, with
"Breeze Dark" everything's fine...
