SUMMARY
Sometimes when using select copy/middle click paste under Wayland, the first
1-2 characters are not copied

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Not reproducible. It happens sometimes when using select copy/middle click
paste

OBSERVED RESULT
The first 1-2 characters are truncated

EXPECTED RESULT
The entire selected string is pasted

Linux/KDE Plasma: 
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0
Qt Version: 6.9.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Sometimes select doesn't copy at all in the situations where it does in X11
session, but that's a separate issue
