I would caution against changing the QtQuick renderer to Vulkan to resolve
this, it's likely you might hit problems later on that are strange and
non-obvious, having forgotten entirely that you changed the setting. It's why
we've hidden it.

Starting filelight from the terminal with:

QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb filelight

would be the best workaround.
