Thanks for the additional details. I'll move this to kwin, since that draws
windows, and let the kwin developers have a look.

Observations from the display configuration:
- Single monitor, 1920 x 1080 @ 100% 60 Hz
- RGB range: Full
- Color profile: none
- Color accuracy: Prefer efficiency
- Limit color resolution to: Automatic (10 bits per color)
- Brightness "Control hardware brightness with DDC/CI - checked
  100%
- Screen tearing: checked

I don't have these settings on 6.3.5 or git-master:
- Limit color resolution to: Automatic (10 bits per color)
- Brightness "Control hardware brightness with DDC/CI - checked
