SUMMARY

1. Copy any emoji, such as 😋
2. Paste it into the search field of Kicker, System Settings or the Emoji
Selector

The emoji is placed vertically too low, partially cut off, until you enter an
ASCII character.

Could not reproduce it with Gtk apps or with Plasma Widgets, such as Network or
Clipboard.
