I'm not able to reproduce this on git-master with Discord or Obsidian notes
Also not able to reproduce with KDE Neon using Simplenote

Are you able to reproduce this on X11 or only on Wayland?
Also, are you able to reproduce with a new user?

Setting to kwin, as it's an issue related to window management
