SUMMARY

I cannot follow an account. Not being exactly a heavy user, there is currently
one account I follow, and when I click follow in another one, it is marked
accordingly, but when I leave the account it is not followed


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  go to a certain account (tried it with two)
2.  click "follow"
3. go somewhere else (eg "explore") then back to the account in question, or go
to "following"

OBSERVED RESULT

the account is not added to the list of followed accounts, on the next visit to
the account it is not marked as being followed.
