When entering in the Desktop, after a computer standby, the brightness is

when I enter in the Desktop after a standby, the brightess is at 23%.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Check the brightness value of your monitor and leave the computer inactive
to make it enter in standby.
2. After the computer has entered in standby mode, start using your computer.
3. The brightness value is lowered to 23%.
OBSERVED RESULT
The brightness value get changed without any user interaction. User must
manually set the brightness to previous value.
