SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Tokodon 24.05.1 (Flatpak version) on Kubuntu 24.04, under Wayland -
MastodonApp.uk site
2. Scroll down to an post with an image with the Alt overlay in the top right
corner of the image.
3. Click on Alt overlay to review the Alt Text.
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens. The image does not expand into a pop up, and the Alt Text is
not displayed.
EXPECTED RESULT
On previous version 2024-04-12, clicking on either the image or the Alt Text
overlay would pop up an expanded version of the image with the Alt Text
underneath the image (see attached image).
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Qt Version: 5.15.13
Graphics Platform: Wayland
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Right mouse click brings up the "Save Image As..." pop up dialogue box (see
attached image).
I have moved the .var/app/org.kde.tokodon folder so that Tokodon starts fresh
and having to logon to the site. Still same result.
Flatpak downgrading to the 2024-04-12 version works okay, with the image being
displayed as stated above.
