                    system has been breached
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Other
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: garrick.mcfadden at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

*After the recent CrowdStrike outage on July 19, 2024, our PCs have been
experiencing significant sluggishness and sporadic crashes. The faulty update
from CrowdStrike resulted in numerous systems displaying the notorious Blue
Screen of Death (BSOD). These problems have affected daily operations, causing
unexpected shutdowns and lengthy reboot loops. Users have reported that booting
into Safe Mode often reveals a specific driver file causing these issues. We
suspect that interference from the CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor is heavily
impacting performance throughout our systems. An urgent investigation into
these problems is necessary to restore functionality and alleviate these
critical issues
