ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 
I don't remember this happening in older version. After opening krita my
keyboard works fine but as soon as I use the text tool krita suddenly stops
recognizing any keywords except for commands keys like Ctrl, alt, shift.
Resetting krita solves the problem temporarily until I use the text tool again.
