            Bug ID: 491404
           Summary: Plasma Randomly Changes Microphone Volume
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: jetsonsandcool at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I set my microphone volume to 150% my microphone volume will randomly get
reset to somewhere between 40% to 96%. I'm using the latest versions of KDE and
pipewire available to me.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change the global microphone volume to 150% in Plasma (You'll need to toggle
raise max volume)
2. Wait anywhere between 1 second and 20 minutes
3. Microphone volume will be suddenly reset

OBSERVED RESULT
My Microphone volume will randomly change from 150% (Which is what I have it
set to) to a seemingly random number (I've seen anywhere from 40%-96%)

EXPECTED RESULT
It should stay 150% and not change.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Artix Linux (runit)
Kernel Version: 6.10.1-zen1-1-zen
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I've used Plasma 6 before on Void Linux with basically the same setup and never
had this problem. I'm starting pipewire through this login script specifically:
```
#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/pipewire & /usr/bin/pipewire-pulse & /usr/bin/wireplumber
```
