I opened a command prompt and tried your troubleshooting commands.

Check that the process is listening on the network: sudo netstat -tunelp | grep
-i kdeconnect
error: sudo is not a recognized command

Are the ports open/blocked? netcat -z -v <your-phones-ip> 1714-1764
error: cannot find file

I opened the ports to no avail. Same results
