Protip, since this is your first bug report: telling the developers of a piece
of software that you hate it may not be the most effective way to get them to
improve it for you. :) You catch more flies with honey than vinegar etc. :)

Regardless, this is a packaging bug in Kubuntu; Discover does not actually
determind what to include or remove in these updates; it's just a wrapper
around what the distro's own packaging tools determine. You would want to
report this issue to the Kubuntu folks. Thanks!
