            Bug ID: 420713
Summary: Dolphin unmounts external drive after failing to copy
                    from it
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: david.cortes.rivera at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I try to copy files from an external USB hard disk to an ext4 partition in a
laptop through dolphin's copy functionality, it will fail shortly after
starting, and will unmount the drive along with it, usually crashing along.
Happened on multiple attempts while other file managers succeeded at the first
try.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect an external USB hard disk to a laptop.
2. Browse said drive with Dolphin.
3. Copy some files form the external disk to the local disk.

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin crashes, the drive is unmounted, and the operation fails.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should copy the files.
